Over two days on February 5-6, 2026, the Versee team held an intensive internal workshop titled "Applying Sora and AI Video Generation to Production Workflows." All members of the Content and Tech teams — over 30 people — attended in full, making it one of the largest internal training events to date.
The first day focused on theory and demonstrations. The Tech team presented an overview of Sora's architecture, how it differs from previous video generation models, and its current strengths and limitations. The live demo made a strong impression when the team generated a 15-second video from a text prompt in just minutes, with near-cinematic image quality. Content team members — accustomed to traditional filming workflows — were visibly excited by these new capabilities.
The comparison between old and new workflows was among the most valuable segments. The team analyzed in detail how the traditional 8-step video production process (from ideation to publishing) averaged 4 hours, compared to the new AI-integrated 5-step process taking approximately 2.5 hours. The largest time savings came in creating visual assets and initial editing.
Day two was hands-on practice — the part everyone had been waiting for. Members were divided into 6 small groups, each receiving a real brief and tasked with producing a complete short video using Sora within 3 hours. A healthy competitive atmosphere drove creativity — from emotional storytelling videos to humorous clips with special effects. Final results were screened and voted on, with first place going to the group that created an impressive Vietnam travel video entirely from text prompts.
Post-workshop measurements showed clear results: video prototype production time decreased by 40%, the number of iterations during concept review dropped by 60% (thanks to AI-generated quick previews), and team satisfaction with the new tools scored 4.7 out of 5. Notably, many Content team members felt confident they could create visual content without being entirely dependent on the Design team.
Following the workshop, Versee's leadership decided to integrate Sora into the official production pipeline starting March 2026. A 5-person task force from both the Content and Tech teams was established to build standardized processes, create prompt templates, and provide additional training for remaining members. Versee believes this is a critical step in maintaining its pioneering position in the digital content production industry.
