Early on the morning of January 20, 2026, all 35 Versee members gathered at the office at 6 AM to board the bus for Tam Dao. The Q1 team building trip had been long anticipated, especially after an intense Q4 packed with major projects. The bus atmosphere was lively with karaoke songs and word-guessing games throughout the 2-hour journey.
Arriving at 8 AM, the group immediately began the first activity — hiking along a trail through the pine forest. The team was divided into 4 groups led by team leaders from 4 different departments. Each group received a map and had to complete checkpoints along the way, collecting clues to solve a final puzzle at the summit. The 2-hour activity not only provided physical exercise but also demanded close teamwork and coordination.
Noon was BBQ time — the most beloved activity at every Versee team building event. The BBQ area was lakeside with stunning mountain views. Each group grilled and prepared food with pre-arranged ingredients, competing to see which group had the tastiest and best-presented dish. Laughter filled the area as members from different departments — who rarely get to socialize during regular workdays — sat together sharing fun stories.
The afternoon continued with a series of team games custom-designed by the HR team. Games included: tug of war, relay races with surprise challenges, and notably the "AI vs Human" challenge — where groups competed by drawing themed artwork, then compared their creations against AI-generated images to see which received higher votes. This game not only produced plenty of laughter but also sparked interesting discussions about human creativity versus AI.
The evening highlight was the talent show performed by each department. The Content team presented a short play reenacting "a typical workday at Versee" complete with drama and humor. The Tech team surprised everyone with a rap about coding and AI. The Marketing team delivered a modern dance number, while the Operations team stunned with a magic act combined with stand-up comedy.
The team building trip wrapped up at 8 PM as the group boarded the bus back to Hanoi. On the ride home, many members shared that this was one of the most meaningful team building events they had experienced. It was not just a day of fun, but an opportunity to understand each other better, break down barriers between departments, and remind everyone of Versee's culture — where creativity, team spirit, and joy in work are always the top priorities.
