Job Description
Handle the entire post-production workflow for short-form videos across Versee's social media channels and partner clients. Edit footage, color grade, add graphics/text overlays, mix audio and export optimized files for each platform.
Key Responsibilities
- •Video Editing: Cut, arrange and assemble footage into polished videos with appropriate pacing for short-form (15s-60s)
- •Color Grading: Apply color correction, LUTs, and ensure consistent color tones throughout videos matching brand guidelines
- •Graphics & Text: Add lower thirds, title cards, text overlays, stickers and motion graphic elements to videos
- •Audio Processing: Level audio, remove noise, sync background music, add appropriate sound effects
- •Multi-platform Optimization: Export files with correct specs for each platform (TikTok 9:16, YouTube 16:9, Instagram 1:1)
- •File Management: Organize and archive footage, project files systematically, ensure proper backups
Required Skills and Qualifications
- •Software: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro with basic After Effects knowledge for motion graphics
- •Color Grading: Skilled with LUTs, color wheels, and scopes for professional color correction
- •Storytelling: Understanding of pacing, rhythm, and cutting techniques suited for short-form content
- •Audio: Capable of basic audio processing (noise reduction, leveling, music sync)
- •Experience: 1-3 years of video editing experience, preferably short-form social media videos
Common Qualifications
- A portfolio demonstrating diverse editing styles: entertainment, advertising, storytelling
- Experience editing in TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts format
- Familiarity with AI video tools (Runway, Pika, Kling...) is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
